Golden Eagles in the NFL, Week 8

Eight different Southern Miss players are currently on rosters in the National Football League. Here is a quick recap on how they did this past weekend:
Chris Clark, Denver - came off the bench for the second time in seven games for the Broncos in the team's 35-21 home victory over San Diego, The Broncos are now 6-1 on the year. Clark is his fourth season with the Broncos, having played in 63 games and making 25 starts. (This week - at New England, 3:25 pm/CBS)
Jamie Collins, New England - notched a team-best 11 tackles (six solos) as the Patriots defeated Chicago at home, 51-23. Collins has appeared in six of the seven contests for the Patriots this season, starting at linebacker in all six games that he has played. The Patriots are 6-2 this season. (This week - Denver, 3:25 pm/CBS)
Austin Davis, St. Louis - made his sixth career start for the Rams and St. Louis fell on the road to Kansas City 34-7. Davis connected on 15-of-25 passing for 160 yards with a touchdown and an interception. (This week - at San Francisco, 3:05 pm/FOX)
Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay - started at right tackle in a 19-13 home loss to Minnesota. Dotson has started at right tackle in all six games this season for the Buccaneers. (This week - Minnesota, 12 noon/FOX)
Lamar Holmes, Atlanta - is on the injured reserve list and will miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury.
Tom Johnson, Minnesota - came off the bench to register a tackle, including one sack for four yards and a quarterback hurry in a 19-13 road win at Tampa Bay. Johnson is second on the team in sacks with five. (This week - Washington, 12 noon/FOX)
Cordarro Law, San Diego - missed his third consecutive game with an ankle injury as the Chargers lost at at Denver, 35-21. (This week - at Miami, 12 noon/CBS)
Khyri Thornton, Green Bay - is on the injured reserve list.
