Men's Basketball to Make Three Appearances on ASN

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's basketball team will make at least three appearances on the American Sports Network during the 2014-15 season, according to an announcement by the Conference USA office.
Southern Miss opens its ASN slate on Jan. 8 at UTSA (7 p.m.). The Golden Eagles will then make back-to-back appearances during its Old Dominion (Jan. 19) and Charlotte (Jan. 21) road swing. Both games will be televised at 4:30 p.m. CT.
The Black and Gold will make seven total appearances on television. Southern Miss will make two appearances on the SEC Network - Nov. 20 at Alabama (8 p.m.) and Dec. 29 at LSU (6 p.m.)
Southern Miss will host FIU on FoxSportsNet at 8 p.m. on Feb. 12. The Golden Eagles will close the season with a nationally-televised tilt on CBS Sports Network at Louisiana Tech on Mar. 5 (7 p.m.).
Southern Miss opens the 2014-15 slate with an exhibition game on Nov. 6 against Mississippi College. The regular season begins Nov. 14 when the Golden Eagles host William Carey.
