Southern Miss Receiving Votes in Coaches Poll

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - After its 66-49 victory over Drexel, the Southern Miss men's basketball team received 15 votes (31st overall) in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, released this afternoon.

This marks the fourth straight year that Southern Miss has received votes in either Associated Press or Coaches' polls.

The Golden Eagles are 13-2 overall heading into conference play. They open their C-USA slate this Thursday, January 9, at North Texas. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
