Spring Football Practice for Thursday Rained Out

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Rainy weather in the Hattiesburg area has caused the Southern Miss football team to postpone its Thursday afternoon practice.

Instead, the Golden Eagles will go through its normal practice schedule tomorrow afternoon either at the Joe P. Park Practice facility on the Southern Miss campus or at Petal High School. Southern Miss will then scrimmage Saturday morning at one of the two venues, depending on the weather and the practice fields on the Southern Miss campus.

The team has gone through 10 workout sessions this spring and continues to work toward next Saturday's annual Black and Gold game set for 1 p.m., at Petal High School.
