Men's Basketball Presented with American Flags

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's basketball team and head coach Donnie Tyndall were presented with American flags by the Mississippi National Guard.

The first flag was presented by MSGT David W. Morgan of the 183rd Airlift Squadron and was flown during a combat support sortie to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

The second flag was presented by John S. Ladner, Commander of the Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center and was flown on a Special Operations aircraft during a combat mission over Iraq in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
