Jonathan Mills posted his fifth double-double of the season and second in a row with 15 points and 17 rebounds.
Jonathan Mills' 17 rebounds are the most ever in a C-USA Championship Title Game and tied three others for the most in any C-USA Championship game. The 11 defensive boards tied the record held by Robert Dozier of Memphis on March 14, 2009 and Will Barton of Memphis, March 10, 2012.
Daveon Boardingham scored 22 points (second-most in his career) and tied his career-high with eight rebounds.
Southern Miss scored 50 of its points in the paint, outscoring Memphis 50-22 inside.
Southern Miss awaits postseason play with a 25-9 record. The 25 wins tie last year's team for the most wins in school history.
