Men's Hoops to Hold Open Tryouts

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's basketball team will hold open tryouts for students on Wednesday, September 21. The tryouts will begin at 6:30 a.m. and take place at Reed Green Coliseum.
Student-athletes can sign up by going to the Men's Basketball Office on the second floor of Reed Green Coliseum, where the sign-up sheet is located. Registration will end Wednesday, September 14.
Those that are interested must have their ID number when they sign up. A verification of a physical and proof of a sickle cell anemia test must be brought to tryouts on September 21. Those trying out must be enrolled in at least 12 hours and have started after the Fall of 2007, and they cannot have class before 11 a.m., Monday-Friday.
