Men's Basketball Finalizes 2011-12 Television Dates

2011-12 Men's Basketball Schedule ![]()
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss has released its 2011-12 television schedule, as released by Conference USA. In all, the Golden Eagles will be televised eight times throughout the year, with the possibility of more games being picked up at a later date.
The Golden Eagles will be televised nationally four times this year. Fox Sports Net will televise three games, beginning with Ole Miss' first trip to Hattiesburg since 1995 on December 12th (3:30 p.m.). Two days later, FSN will televise Southern Miss' game at Arizona State (9:00 p.m.). FSN will also carry the Black and Gold's game against UAB on February 14th (1:00 p.m.).
CBS Sports Network will carry Southern Miss' final nationally televised game, on February 1st at 7:00 p.m.
CSS will carry four Golden Eagle games, beginning with their January 11th game at Memphis (6:00 p.m.). Southern Miss will then host Marshall on January 21st in a 5:00 p.m. contest. CSS's next game will be at Houston (8:00 p.m.) on February 18th. The final CSS game will be on February 25th against Rice (7:00 p.m.)
Southern Miss opens the 2011-12 season on Nov. 12, against Spring Hill.
