HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Beth Dietrich (So., P, Friendswood, Texas) went 3-0 during the week posting all three wins against UTEP, including two shutout victories. For the week, she pitched 16.0 innings and finished with an ERA of 0.88 while giving up only two earned runs, striking out 14 and walking just two batters.

Dietrich appeared in all four games including pitching the final inning against Nicholls State in helping the Eagles preserve a 6-3 win and snapping a three-game losing streak. She opened the series against UTEP with a complete game shutout giving up six hits with four strikeouts and no walks. In a relief effort in game two, Dietrich picked up the win after pitching the final 4.0 innings in the 10-inning game, surrendering four hits and just one earned run.

In the series finale, she earned her second complete game shutout, giving up four hits and striking out seven with no walks.
