HATTIESBURG, Miss. - As cameras rolled for the second time this season through a full practice, the No. 25 Southern Miss Golden Eagles (6-1, 2-1 C-USA) held their Wednesday practice at the Joe P. Park Practice facility.
The show, set to air over the next three weeks on Mondays on the CBS Sports Network, will give fans an inside, behind-the-scenes perspective of the Golden Eagles as they prepare for their next three opponents.
Bright lights and cameras did not damper the attitude of the squad, however, as fourth-year coach Larry Fedora saw his squad maintain their composure and consistency.
"There was a good energy level all the way around," Fedora said. "Guys were moving around. It's getting a point now where they know the routine. It's fun to watch them fly around like that."
The Golden Eagles were tabbed No. 25 in this week's edition of the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, returning to the polls for the first time since the 2004 season.
Saturday's kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT in the Sun Bowl in El Paso. The game will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network (Ch. 393 HD/793 on Comcast, 152 on Dish Network and 613 on DirecTV).
