2011 C-USA Preseason Softball Awards 
LeJune batted .288 during her sophomore campaign. She connected for a team-tying 53 hits, including a team-tying 13 doubles and four home runs. LeJune recorded a team-high 39 runs and 19 RBIs. She also was 4-of-5 in stolen bases.
LeJune had 14 multiple hit games last season and finished with a two-game hitting streak.
The Golden Eagles were picked to finish sixth in the league while Houston was picked the favorite.
Southern Miss opens the 2011 campaign on Feb. 12-13, hosting its own Southern Miss Mizuno Classic. The Golden Eagles play Central Arkansas at 2:30 p.m., and face Kennesaw State at 5 p.m.
