Eagle Fanfare Set for Saturday at Reed Green Coliseum

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The South Central Mississippi Alumni Chapter will host the 15th Annual Eagle Fanfare, presented by ServiceMaster of Petal, at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Reed Green Coliseum on the Hattiesburg Campus. Alumni, fans and friends are invited to attend and visit with University President Dr. Martha Saunders, head football coach Larry Fedora, athletic director Richard Giannini, and the entire football team as a kickoff to the 2010 football season. This family-friendly event will feature jumpers for kids and the Southern Miss cheerleaders.
Southern Miss merchandise will be on sale, and a silent auction will be held with proceeds benefiting the South Central Mississippi Chapter's scholarship endowment for incoming students from the area. In addition, food and drinks will be available for purchase by multiple local food vendors.
Tickets are $5 each. Children 8 and under enter for free.
