Black Out Game Set for Saturday Versus UAB

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - After enjoying its off week, the Southern Miss football team returns to action this weekend when they entertain UAB in its annual Black Out game. The contest is slated for an 11 a.m., kickoff in Carlisle-Faulkner Field at Roberts Stadium.
For those fans wishing to purchase 2010 Black Out shirts, they can visit local retail stores to get their official Black Out shirt.
Saturday is also Take a Kid to the Game day and Golden Eagle fans are asked to look for gold coupons around town for free kids admission with the purchase of an adult ticket for the contest on Saturday.
Here are some additional things going on for Saturday's game:
*Breast Cancer Awareness game - the players will accent their uniforms with pink to help draw awareness to breast cancer
*United Way - the University campaign for the United Way is going on and we will do a collection at the game
*The Black Daggers will parachute in during the pregame festivities
*The 2010 Conference USA Baseball Champion Golden Eagles will be recognized on the field during the game
*The 1970 football team will be recognized during the game.

The Golden Eagle ticket offices at the northwest and southwest sides of the stadium will open at 8 a.m., on Saturday all the way through halftime. Fans can also purchase tickets by going online at SouthernMiss.com, calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by going by the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. up until Friday.
