Softball Hosts Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss softball team will host Southeastern La. in a single game, beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.

The two teams have tied the series, 19-19, since first meeting in 1985. The last meeting was in 2006, in which the Lady Eagles recorded a 3-2 win.

Southern Miss (6-13) enters the contest following an 8-0 loss to in-state rival Ole Miss on Sunday, March 4. Southeastern La. (14-8) is coming off of a 5-4 win over Texas State on Sunday.

First pitch is schedule for 6 p.m.
