Lady Eagles Add Meridian Community College Standout to Roster

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Lady Eagles softball Head Coach Gay McNutt announces the addition of former Meridian Community College standout Emily Howard to the 2007 roster.

The Meridian, Miss. native graduated from Clarkdale High School before heading to Meridian Community College, where she graduated in 2006.

Playing pitcher and outfield for Meridian CC, Howard recorded a .385 batting average, including 52 hits, 11 doubles, three triples and seven home runs. As a pitcher, Howard finished with a 3.57 ERA, a 19-15 record and 90 strike outs.
