Softball's James Named to Getterman Classic All-Tournament Team

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Freshman first baseman Logan James has been named to the Getterman Classic All-Tournament team following her performance this weekend in the sixth annual tournament.
James' highlight performance of the weekend was against Stephen F. Austin on Sunday, hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game and send it into extra innings.
She finished the weekend with a .250 batting average, including three hits, one double, one home run and four RBIs.
Southern Miss softball returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 14, for the home opener against South Alabama at 6 p.m. at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.
