"Meet The Eagles" Set For Aug. 19

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - If you're a Southern Miss fan and couldn't attend Saturday's 11th Annual Fanfare at the Payne Center, don't worry.
Another opportunity to meet the Golden Eagle players and coaches, prior to the start of the 2006 season, is set for Saturday, August 19.
Southern Miss Head Football Coach Jeff Bower and the 2006 Golden Eagle football team will be available to sign autographs this Saturday, following the team's practice, from noon - 1 p.m., at M. M. Roberts Stadium.
This event is free of charge. Fans are asked to enter the stadium through Gate 8 or Gate 6 (north east & south east corners of M.M. Roberts Stadium).
Southern Miss Fans are encouraged to come "Meet the Eagles" for pictures and autographs.
Golden Eagle fans are also reminded that season tickets are now on sale. Additional information on tickets is available by contacting the Southern Miss Ticket Office at 1-800-844-TICK, 601-266-5418, or online at www.southernmiss.com.
The 2006 Southern Miss football schedule will be exciting and competitive as the Golden Eagles begin their quest of a fifth C-USA Championship. The six game home schedule includes Southeastern Louisiana, Sept. 9; NC State, Sept. 16; Houston, Oct. 14 (Homecoming); East Carolina, Oct. 28; UAB, Nov. 18; Marshall, Nov. 25
Road trips include a trip to Florida, Sept. 2; UCF, Tuesday, Sept. 26; Tulsa, Tuesday, Oct. 3; Virginia Tech, Oct. 21; Memphis, Sunday, Nov. 5; Tulane, Nov. 11
