Jennifer Fox Named Southern Miss Student Athlete Of The Week

Southern Miss sophomore left fielder Jennifer Fox helped the Lady Eagle softball team win two out of three games over the weekend against UAB to win the series. For the weekend, Fox hit .444 (4/9) with four hits, one stolen base, two runs scored, one home run and four RBIs.
For the season, Fox leads Southern Miss with a .352 batting average, 51 hits, seven home runs, 35 RBIs, 81 total bases and a slugging percentage of .559. In Conference USA games, Fox has a .378 batting average, 17 hits, 10 runs scored, four home runs, two doubles, 16 RBIs, 31 total bases, a slugging percentage of .689 and on-base percentage of .462.
For her performances, Fox was also named C-USA Hitter of the Week.
