Men's Basketball Times for Upcoming Season

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss has released game times for its 29-game regular-season men's basketball schedule, as well as its two-game exhibition slate.
The Golden Eagles will be featured at least six times on television, including four games on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) and twice on CSTV.
The regular home game times are 7 p.m., for weeknight games and 4 p.m., for Saturday tilts, but there are some exceptions due to television and other conflicts.
The exhibition opener versus Lithuania Academy is set for 2 p.m., as to not conflict with the football game, while the Nov. 11 regular-season opener versus Belhaven is set for 7:30 p.m. In addition, the Nov. 18 Alabama State game will begin at 2 p.m.
The Golden Eagles will move back their Dec. 28 contest 30 minutes with McNeese State to 7:30 p.m., as they will play a doubleheader with the women's team. The Jan. 2 Auburn tilt will be played at 6 p.m. as it will be shown on CSS. Three other Golden Eagle Saturday home games are being played at different time to accommodate television including the Jan. 13 Memphis game to 7 p.m., while the Feb. 3 contest against Tulane is set for 7 p.m., and the Feb. 28 match up with UAB will start at 8 p.m.
Southern Miss will also have two road games broadcast via CSTV as their Feb. 21 affair at UCF will take place at 7 p.m. CT and the Feb. 24 game at Tulane is set for 3 p.m.
Six teams that reached the postseason last year, including Elite Eight team Memphis, Bradley (Sweet Sixteen), Alabama (2nd round) and UAB (1st round), along with NIT teams Houston (2nd round) and UTEP (1st round) highlight the slate for 2006-07.
