Football Begins Final Week Of Spring Practice
?I?m feeling good about the way things have gone,? Head Coach Jeff Bower said. ?We need to finish the week on a strong note.?
Bower said one area of concern is injury, particularly at tight end.
?We had one tight end practice today,? Bower said. ?We?re thin there. I think we?ll get Shawn Nelson back this weekend, but we?re getting low on bodies.?
He added that senior offensive lineman Ricardo Clark suffered a leg injury today, and could miss some time.
Southern Miss will practice on Friday, before ending the spring with Saturday?s Black and Gold game.
