Softball To Open Conference USA Play Against Charlotte

Jessica Huerta, who will play this weekend after leaving the
Charity Butler ranks second on the team in batting average (.400), RBIs (11), doubles (four) and is tied with Diane Hammes for second in hits (18).
Ashley Davis, Jennifer Fox and Hammes each have two home runs on the season.
The team?s pitching staff has an ERA of 3.67, including 120 hits, 70 runs, 60 earned, 41 walks, 64 strikeouts and has held opponents to a .267 batting average.
Krystal Crooks leads the team with a 2.12 ERA and 7-1 record. She has pitched six consecutive games in as many starts, including two shutouts in that span. In 62.2 innings of work, she has allowed 47 hits, 21 runs, 19 earned, walked 15, struck out 27 and has held opposing teams to a .206 batting average.
The team hits .236 as a team, with 47 runs, 99 hits, 19 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 42 RBIs, 17 stolen bases, a slugging percentage of .305 and on-base percentage of .304.
Evan Miller leads the team with a .356 batting average, 12 runs, eight stolen bases and is tied for the team lead with Kristi Killough in hits (16). Killough leads the team with five doubles, while Kaycie Jones has a team-high nine RBIs.
