Southern Miss (17-18, 5-4) enters Wednesday?s doubleheader after falling dropping a three-game series to USF over the weekend.
The Lady Eagles hit .291 as a team, with 161 runs, 263 hits, 56 doubles, four triples, 17 home runs, 147 RBI and 59 stolen bases.
Jessica Huerta continues to lead Southern Miss in multiple categories, including batting average (.389), runs (28), hits (42), doubles (11), triples (three), RBI (26), total bases (65) and stolen bases (16).
Ashley Davis leads the team with six home runs on the season, while Diane Hammes ranks second in hits (35), stolen bases (14) and doubles (eight). Jennifer Fox is second on the team with 22 RBI and leads the squad in walks (16).
The pitching staff has an ERA of 3.52, with 19 complete games and nine shutouts. In 231 innings of work, the staff has allowed 253 hits, 152 runs, 116 runs, 81 walks, 127 strikeouts and holds opponents to a .275 average.
Krystal Crooks leads the pitching staff with a 2.47 ERA and 9-5 record, including 10 complete games and three shutouts. In 107.2 innings of work, she has allowed 107 hits, 52 runs, 38 earned, walked 27, struck out 37, while holding batters to a .255 batting average. Danielle Wymer leads the staff with four shutouts and 71 strikeouts.
Nicole Martin leads the team with a .405 batting average, including 53 hits and 15 doubles. Shay Hunt has a team-high 33 RBI and 11 home runs. Sarina Noack leads the team with 15 stolen bases and 33 runs scored.
The Lady Demon pitching staff has an ERA of 3.08, with 13 complete games and four shutouts. It has allowed 261 hits, 148 runs, 116 earned, 113 walks, 207 strikeouts and has held opposing teams to a .251 batting average.
Loni Rasberry leads the staff with a 15-4 record and 2.38 ERA, with seven complete games and a shutout. In 120.2 innings of work, she has given up 114 hits, 55 runs, 41 earned, walked 53, struck out 95 and holds batters to a .244 average.
