HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss takes to the road for the first of two away games, travelling to Milwaukee, Wis., to take on Marquette, Saturday, at The Bradley Center.
Tip-off for the game is set for 12:04 p.m., CT, and will be televised by ESPNPlus. Check your local listings for channel information. The game also will be broadcast over the Southern Miss/ISP Sports Network. "The Voice of the Golden Eagles" John Cox and analyst Lance Pittman will call the action. Air time begins at 11:30 a.m., CT, with the Golden Eagle Courtside Show.
Southern Miss, under the direction of Head Coach Larry Eustachy, enters the game with a 10-10 overall record and is 1-7 in Conference USA play, while Marquette comes in at 15-6 overall and 3-5 in the league.
Both teams also are coming off losses, with Southern Miss falling to USF and Marquette losing to UAB on Wednesday.

Marquette, which is just two years removed from an NCAA Final Four appearance, is led by Head Coach Tom Crean. Travis Diener currently leads the team in scoring with 20.2 points per game, but has not played in the last three games because of a minor stress fracture in his left foot. Dameon Mason and Steve Novak are also averaging double figures with 13.2 and 12.8 points, respectively. Marcus Jackson leads the team with 9.0 rebounds per game, while Diener has a team-best 121 assists.

Following the Marquette contest, Southern Miss stays on the road for a rematch against Tulane, Feb. 9, in New Orleans. The team then returns to Reed Green Coliseum to face Houston, Feb. 12.
