Krystal Crooks leads the Southern Miss pitching staff with a 6-1 record and 2.75 ERA. She has pitched five consecutive complete games, including a one-hit shutout against Mississippi Valley State on Feb. 26. |

The Lady Eagles (9-7) enter the game after winning the Mercer/Comfort Inn Classic over the weekend. The team, along with
Southern Miss hits .288 as a team, with 82 runs, 116 hits, 24 doubles, two triples, eight home runs, 71 RBIs and 35 stolen bases.
Jessica Huerta continues to lead Southern Miss numerous categories, including batting average (.438), runs (14), hits (21), RBIs (13), triples (two), slugging percentage (.688), on-base percentage (.481) and is tied for the team lead in doubles (five). Huerta has at least one hit in all but three games this season, and multi-hits in seven contests.
Charity Butler ranks second on the team with a .415 batting average, and is tied for second in RBIs (10) with Diane Hammes and Ashley Brenan.
The pitching staff has a 4.60 ERA, and has allowed 108 hits, 58 runs, 52 earned, 33 walks, 56 strikeouts, while holding teams to a .270 batting average.
Krystal Crooks (6-1) leads the pitching staff with a 2.75 ERA, including two shutouts. In 55.2 innings of work, she has allowed 43 hits, 18 runs, 17 earned, walked 10, struck out 24 and has limited opponents to a .210 batting average. Crooks has pitched five consecutive games in as many starts, and is coming off a one-hit shutout against Mississippi Valley State (2/26).
The Lady Lions hit .224 as a team, including 21 runs, 57 hits, five doubles, one triple, three home runs, 18 RBIs, a .286 slugging percentage, a .294 on-base percentage and one stolen base.
Rebecca De La Garza leads the team with a .345 batting average and 10 hits. Karin Smith has a team-high three home runs, five RBIs, 18 total bases, two doubles and six runs.
The pitching staff has a 4.05 ERA, and has allowed 74 hits, 42 runs, 37 earned, 16 walks, 54 strikeouts and has held opponents to a .290 batting average.
Summer Delaneuville leads the team with a 3.00 ERA and 3-3 record, including three complete games and a shutout. She has allowed 25 hits, 13 runs, 12 earned, walked three, struck out 42 and held batters to a .231 batting average.
