WMBC-FM Joins The Southern Miss ISP Network
The stations, under the direction of Cumulus Media, will begin broadcasting Southern Miss athletic events with the start of the 2005 football season.
WMBC, which boasts a 50,000-watt FM signal, will carry all live football and men?s basketball contests throughout the next two football and basketball seasons.
In addition, the ?Golden Eagle Hotline? call-in show featuring Head Football Coach Jeff Bower and Head Basketball Coach Larry Eustachy will be carried during both seasons on the three AM stations.

Owen Shull, general manager of the ISP Sports marketing operation at Southern Miss, is equally enthusiastic about the new affiliates on the ISP Network.
?We are very pleased to have WMBC-FM, as well as WJWF, WKOR and WSSO, as part of our Southern Miss network for the next two years,? Shull says. ?We know that our fans in that part of our state will be excited to be able to follow the Golden Eagle games all year long on such a powerful station.?
The ?Golden Eagle Hotline? show leading up to the 2005 football season begins in August on the AM signals. The first official Southern Miss ISP Network broadcast on WMBC will take place with the opening game of the 2005 schedule which has not yet been announced.
