Football Announces Third Mid-Year Signee
Head Coach Jeff Bower |
HATTIESBURG, Miss.
? Southern Miss Football Coach Jeff Bower has announced the signing of NJCAA first-team All-American Levance Richmond, a 5-11, 190-pound defensive back/wide receiver from Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss., to a letter of intent and grant-in-aid.
"We are excited about the addition of Levance to our program," Bower said. "He brings outstanding credentials and gives us an excellent player with two years of experience. He comes from Pearl River Community College, who recently won the Junior College National Championship in December. With Levance signing now, it gives him a chance to get accustomed to the academic demands of college life, but gives him a chance to go through spring workouts and learn our system before next season."
