Southern Miss - Cal To Be Played On Dec. 4 HATTIESBURG, Miss. ?
"We both looked and found the December 4 date to best fit both institutions' schedules," said Richard Giannini, Southern Miss Director of Athletics. "We tried to move other games around to try and play the game earlier but it didn't work. This hopefully will be a good way for both teams and their respective fans to end their regular season."
Southern Miss next travels to New Orleans, La., on Saturday, Sept. 25, to face Tulane at the Louisiana Superdome at 7 p.m. Tulane also had to postpone its game with Louisville due to the threat of Hurricane Ivan.
