Boley, a consensus preseason All-American, set a career high with 20 tackles, 12 solos and eight assists, in Southern Miss? 21-17 win at
Boley also was named the National Defensive Player of the Week by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Sunday.
McCaleb, a freshman All-American in 2003, and a member of the Lou Groza award watch list, given annually to the nation?s best collegiate kicker, matched a career-high by converting all three of his field goal attempts at Nebraska, scoring the first nine points of the game for Southern Miss. McCaleb connected from 39, 41 and 21 yards out respectively, in the Golden Eagles? victory.
