Southern Miss Tracksters Compete At The Alabama Relays

-- Southern Miss' men's and women's outdoor track teams recorded several solid performance Saturday in the Alabama Relays.
Raquel Washington finished third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.73. Sabrina Norwood finished first in the high jump at 5' 6" with teammates Krista Miller and Hope Singleton finishing in a tie for second at 5?4.25?. Dasha Wakefield was second in the pole vault with a height of 10?11.75?. Tanika Liburd finished first in the women?s long jump competition with a jump of 20?5. Ashley Reyer finished fifth in the women?s heptathlon with 4,406 points. Cassandra Goodson finished fourth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:17.42. Becca Wiseman finished sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:51.42.
Marcus Polk took sixth-place in the decathlon with 5,781 points. Southern Miss had three Golden Eagles finish
Southern Miss returns to action on Sunday in the final day of the Alabama Relays that will feature the men?s high jump, triple jump, discus, shot put, women?s triple jump as well as nine different relays.
