Sunshine State Tournament To Resume Play
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- After heavy rains Thursday and Friday morning postponed the Sunshine State Classic here, tournament play will now resume, albeit two hours later than scheduled.
Southern Miss' opener against Illinois, originally scheduled for 10 a.m. (ET), 9 a.m. (CT), will now be played at noon (ET), 11 a.m. (CT). All tournament games will feature an Internet "Live Stats" broadcast, available by clicking on the "Live Stats" link on the SouthernMiss.com softball page.
Friday's schedule is now two-hours later than originally planned, moving the Lady Eagles' game against No. 22 South Carolina to 4 p.m. (ET), 3 p.m. (CT).
