Fans Encouraged To Bring A Book To The Cincinnati Game
HATTIESBURG, Miss.? Southern Miss student-athletes and the Student Academic Enhancement Program will be sponsoring the annual Real Winners Read campaign, Saturday, Nov. 6, during Cincinnati Game Day activities.
The Real Winners Read campaign is a Southern Miss CHAMPS/Life Skills community service project, and all Southern Miss fans are asked to bring a children?s book to the football game.
Golden Eagle student-athletes will collect the books at each gate as fans enter M.M. Roberts Stadium. The books will be divided and shared with schools and children?s organizations throughout the area.
The involvement of Southern Miss student-athletes in the promotion of literacy development is vital for the community. Student-athletes are committed to service and consistently involve themselves in a myriad of activities throughout the community in support of this cause.
