Football Continues Houston Preparations
The team fine-tuned the gameplan for
Head Football Coach Jeff Bower said practice has gone well this week.
?We haven?t had long practices this week,? Bower said. ?We had a physical practice Monday. We cut back today, and will cut back more tomorrow. It?s more mental preparation than anything else.?
Bower said redshirt-freshman wide receiver Chris Rhoden tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) yesterday in a ?freak accident? in practice, and ?may? be out for the year. Bower added that junior defensive back Trevis Coley (broken finger) will play Thursday night. He said the team has some ?minor nagging injuries,? but everyone will be fine for Thursday?s game.
