Boley, Eubanks Named Conference USA Players Of The Week

HATTIESBURG, Miss.? Southern Miss senior linebacker Michael Boley and junior punt/kick returner John Eubanks were named Conference USA Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week respectively today, for the week ending Oct. 25.
This marks the third time this season that Boley has won the award. In the team?s 51-10 win over
Boley leads the team with 74 total tackles, including 41 solos and 33 assists. He has 10 tackles for loss and four sacks on the season, in addition to an interception, two pass breakups and three forced fumbles. He ranks No. 5 nationally in total tackles per game (12.17), tied for No. 11 in solo tackles per game (6.67) and tied for No. 5 in forced fumbles per game (.50).

Eubanks was named for the honor for the third time in his career and the second time this season. Eubanks won the honor following his performance in the team?s
For the year, Eubanks has four punt returns for 51 yards and 12 kickoff returns for 413 yards and a touchdown.
