Eagle Club To Host Recruiting Socials
HATTIESBURG, Miss. ? The district Eagle Clubs from Hattiesburg, Biloxi and Jackson will host socials in conjunction with football signing day on Wed., Feb. 4 and Meridian will hold an Eagle Club luncheon on Thurs., Feb. 5.
On Feb. 4, The Hattiesburg Eagle Club will sponsor a signing day social at Buffalo Wild Wings, at Noon. Head Coach Jeff Bower and other members of the coaching staff and athletics department will be there as well.
On Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., the Jackson Eagle Club will sponsor a signing day social at the Steam Room Grill, on I-55 and North Frontage Rd. This is sponsored by the law firm of Baria, Fyke, Hawkins and Stacener. There is a $5 cover charge and there will be a cash bar. Defensive Backs Coach Jay Hopson, along with former Golden Eagle greats Reggie Collier, Sammy Winder, Richard Byrd and Lee Roberts will all be in attendance.
Also that evening from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., at the Vegas Show Bar in the President Casino in Biloxi, the Biloxi Eagle Club will host a signing day party. Southern Miss Tight Ends Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Jay Johnson, along with women?s tennis coaches Randy Rowley and Shawny Price will be in attendance.
On Thursday, Feb. 5, in Meridian, the Meridian Eagle Club will be having a luncheon at the Crescent City Grill from Noon until 1 p.m. Southern Miss Running Backs Coach Shelton Gandy will be the featured speaker.
