Southern Miss Football Starts With A Bang Southern Miss football fans are urged to join the Golden Eagles at THE ROCK as they kick off their 2003 home football schedule with a bang on Sat., Sept. 13th at 6 p.m., against Memphis.
"GO GOLD" and get to THE ROCK early for a day full of activities! The Coca-Cola Football Town USA will be providing fans interactive football fun. In addition, Hattiesburg Coca-Cola will be giving away Powerade Thunder Sticks to the first 10,000 fans to enter the stadium. The sticks are inflated and are a great way to make some noise and cheer for Southern Miss. A postgame fireworks show will follow the game.
The Pride of Mississippi Marching Band will also be hosting its annual Band Day. For more information, contact the band office at (601) 266-4698.
