Eighth Annual Eagle FanFare Set For Aug. 9
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- There is still time to get your tickets for the 8th Annual Eagle FanFare which will be held Saturday, August 9 at Reed Green Coliseum.
The ?pregame meal? will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m., during which time there will also be a silent auction. The ?kickoff? for the program, which features Head Coach Jeff Bower, will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Southern Miss merchandise will be available for purchase from the Southern Miss Bookstore. Everyone is encouraged to wear a ?Go Gold? T-shirt or gold attire to this event, just as everyone will do on game day.
The ?pregame meal? served will be identical to what the Southern Miss football team eats prior to games. Another change for this year is that the entire team is scheduled to attend, along with the new Golden Eagle players as well. Fans also will be able to view the brand new Golden Eagle football uniforms, which will be on display.
Tickets can be purchased at the Ogletree Alumni House (266-5013), the Pat Ferlise Center (266-5418) or from members of the South Central - Hattiesburg Metro USM Alumni Board. Adult tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Tickets for children 6-12 are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Children under 6 will be admitted free.
Proceeds from this event are used by the South Central - Hattiesburg Metro Chapter to fund scholarships for high school students planning to attend Southern Miss.
