Southern Miss Offers Football Mini Pack for 2003 Season
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss Director of Athletics Richard Giannini has announced that ticket mini packs for the 2003 football season are now on sale at the Southern Miss Ticket Office. The plan offers fans an additional avenue of purchase for those wishing to obtain tickets for the Thursday, Sept. 25th matchup versus Nebraska.
Mini pack customers must purchase a minimum of three of the six 2003 football home games at The Rock that include matchups with Memphis (Sept. 13), Nebraska (Sept. 25), South Florida (Oct. 25), Louisiana-Lafayette (Nov. 1), Tulane (Nov. 15) and TCU (Nov. 20). Customers unable to attend multiple games in Hattiesburg will be given the option of donating tickets to the university?s Kids Corner program, which enables select area youth programs to experience various Golden Eagle athletic events. Mini pack orders will be filled in corner and upper deck areas not sold on a season basis.
Nebraska single game ticket sales were previously limited to 2003 football season ticketholders and current Eagle Club members. These groups can continue to place orders. Nebraska single-game tickets also are available through a variety of corporate tent packages sold by the athletic department. Information regarding the corporate tent program is available by contacting the athletic department?s sales office at 601-266-5017.
Nebraska tickets also are included in all 2003 football season packages, with the exception of the Kids Corner. The renewal deadline for last year?s season ticketholders recently passed, and ticket office personnel report that sales to date for the coming season are running ahead of last year?s totals.
Athletic department officials do not anticipate any single-game tickets for the Nebraska game, if available, being sold to the general public prior to September.
