Nix Continues To Rest After Friday's Surgery
Hattiesburg, Miss. - Derrick Nix, who underwent kidney transplant surgery yesterday, has been resting comfortably today in the hospital care unit of the UAB Medical Center. According to Nix's older brother Tyrone, Derrick moved around a little today, but still is not allowed to eat anything yet.

Derrick Nix will be under direct doctor's care, requiring an extended stay in the hospital, allowing the medical staff to monitor his kidney functions until he is released. The oldest Nix brother, Marcus, who made the kidney donation, could be released either tomorrow of Monday.
