Final At Gator Invitational Rained Out
Gainesville, Fla. - Southern Miss' game against host Florida in the championship of the Gator Invitational was rained out here today, and will not be rescheduled.

Southern Miss finished the tournament with a 2-2 record.

The Lady Eagles beat Birmingham Southern 2-1 in Southern Miss' opening game of the tournament. USM then lost to Tennessee-Chattanooga, 5-1, and to Florida, 7-0, before beating Tennessee-Chattanooga, 6-5, Saturday night to move into the championship game.

Southern Miss now stands at 4-3 for the young season, and will play again Wednesday, at Southeastern Louisiana, in a game that will start at 6 p.m.
