Golden Eagle Football Adds Tight Ends Coach
"Jay is a bright and energentic coach, who brings solid credentials as a coach and a recruiter," Bower said. "He has a variety of experience at the college level that will make him a valuable member of our staff. I look forward to him being a part of the Golden Eagle football program."
Johnson has coached at Kansas (RB/2001; QB/1999-2000; QB-GA/1997-1998), Truman State (OC-Recruiting Coordinator/1995-1996), Augsburg College (OC-Recruiting Coordinator/1994), Missouri (GA-WR/Spring 1994) and Columbia-Hickman High School (QB-WR-DB/1993).
Johnson earned his bachelor's degree in science with a minor in coaching from Northern Iowa in 1992 and earned his master's degree in exercise science with an emphasis in exercise physiology, at Missouri, in 1994.
