Practice Canceled Due to Bad Conditions
Hattiesburg, Miss. - The University of Southern Mississippi football team had to cancel practice today due to unplayable field conditions caused by the rain that has collected over the past week.

The Golden Eagles practice schedule has now changed for the week, with practices on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before taking off Sunday. Southern Miss will then resume practice on Monday in preparation for the Alabama game on Sept. 15, at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala., in an ESPN2 televised game, starting at 4:45 p.m.
