Randy W. Stewart Endowment To Be Dedicated Saturday
Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss Director of Athletics Richard Giannini has announced that the Randy W. Stewart Athletic Endowment will be dedicated as a part of the Southern Miss Athletic Endowments on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m., at the Pat Ferlise Center on the USM campus.
Stewart, a resident of Valrico, Fla., and a 1973 graduate of Southern Miss, has been a long-time athletic donor. He has been in the insurance business and has been active with other investments since leaving USM. He will be accompanied on Saturday by numerous friends and relatives from the Tampa Bay area.
"We are very appreciative of Randy and his family for their generous contribution to the University of Southern Mississippi Athletics Department," Director of Athletics Richard Giannini said. "It is through his gift and others such as his that we are able to provide a quality education for our student athletes."
All Golden Eagle fans are encouraged to stop by the Ferlise Center on Saturday at 2 p.m., to take part in the dedication.
