Golden Eagle Hotline Debuts August 21
Hattiesburg, Miss. - The University of Southern Mississippi?s Golden Eagle Hotline with Jeff Bower will kick off the 2001-2002 season on Tuesday night, August 21, at Garfield?s Restaurant and Pub at the Turtle Creek Mall here. The weekly, one hour, radio call-in show featuring Bower and ?The Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox, airs on the Southern Miss/ISP Sports Network from 7-8 p.m., CT.
The 2001-2002 season will be the first year that the popular show will be broadcast live from Garfield?s Restaurant & Pub. The restaurant and the Southern Miss/ISP Sports Network have entered into a long-term agreement to air the show.
?We are excited about the partnership between Southern Miss and Garfield?s and are looking forward to the Golden Eagle Hotline originating from there,? said Mark Meadows, General Manager of the Southern Miss/ ISP Sports Network. ?We would encourage all Golden Eagle fans to join us on Tuesday nights at Garfield?s to enjoy the show.?
The Golden Eagle Hotline with Jeff Bower will air each Tuesday night with a few exceptions. The air dates for the show are: August 21, August 28, September 4, September 11, September 18, September 25, October 2, October 9, October 15 (Monday), October 23, October 30, November 6, November 13, November 20, November 26 (Monday), December 4, December 11 and December 17 (Monday).
The Golden Eagle Hotline with Coach James Green also will originate from Garfield?s Restaurant and Pub. That show will begin airing in January.
Listeners can call toll free to talk with Bower by dialing 1-888-TALK-ISP (1-888-825-5477). Fans on hand at Garfield?s also will have the opportunity to ask questions of Bower at the restaurant the night of the show.
