Well we just competed in the Mississippi College meet. We placed first overall and the weather was horrible. It rained the whole time we were running. The course was very muddy,and if you weren't watching where you were stepping you would run right through a deep puddle. Me of course, ran through every puddle on the course so needless to say my shoes were heavy and my socks that use to be white turned brown. We only ran a 5k so it was a lot easier than the meet we had at Birmingham, Ala.
Due to a knee injury, I haven't been running very well, but this weekend had to be the first meet that my knee felt fine, so I ran a lot better. We placed four runners in the top 10, and everyone on the team received a t-shirt, because we had won. So now all we have to do is get ready for Conference which is October 27, and I feel that we are going to be a team to keep your eyes on at the Conference race.
