Cross Country Weekly Update for September 19

Freshman Keri White, who finished 64 out of 198 runners, was the top finisher for the Lady Eagles. White covered the 5K course
in a time of 19:27.93. Kendra Doyle finished 67 with a time of 19:30.78.
"I thought our team ran well in the Alabama meet," head coach Dena Dunn-Reif said. "We are ahead of where we were last
season at this time. The conditions were good and our team competed hard. We just need to stay healthy and continue to improve
from meet to meet in preparing for the Conference USA meet."
The team will run in the 2000 Azalea City Classic, Sept. 22, in Mobile, Ala. Other teams included in the meet are University of
Mobile, Spring Hill College, Florida A&M, Meridian Community College and host South Alabama.
Southern Miss Cross Country Invitational, Friday evening, at the B. O. Van Hook Golf Course in Hattiesburg.
