Southern Miss Women's Cross Country Finishes 15th in Meet
in their second meet of the season, finished 15th out of 26 team with 404
points at the Crimson Tide Cross Country Classic Saturday. South Florida
took the team honors with 23 points followed by Florida State. Alabama's
Ashley La Budde was the top finisher and covered the 5K course in 17:04.83.
The top finisher for the Lady Eagle was freshman Keri White who finished
59 and covered the 5K course in 19:27.93. Kendra Doyle (62) ran a 19:30.78
followed by Oby Amadi (77) with a time of 20:02.88, Hope Sinclair (80) with
a time of 20:05.48, Tabitha White (126) with a time of 21:45.20, and Jenny
Combs (141) with a time of 22:36.53.
Southern Miss will travel to Mobile, Ala., Sept. 23, for the South
Alabama Invitational.
(5th) 81 points to round out the Division I schools. Spring Hill College finished first among the Division II schools, edging out University of Mobile 27-30.
