Women's Track Travels to LSU
The Lady Eagles show marked improvements in the sprints and field events. Junior Tamara Dayes set the tone with a school record-breaking toss in the weight throw of 48'8.25". Sprinters Keisha Johnson and Prudence Reid improved their times in the 200 meters with times of 27.62 and 27.69, respectively. Junior Hope Sinclair improved her mark in the high jump with a jump of 5'5.75". Senior Oby Amadi lowered her time in the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.41.
