Weekly Cross Country Update
The top finisher for the Lady Eagles was Jessica Crump, who finished 29 overall and covered the 6K race in 23:20.49. Rounding out the Southern Miss finishes included Keri White (41) with a time of 23:52.33, Kendra Doyle (53) with a time of 24:39.55, Oby Amadi (63) with a time of 25:16.02, Hope Sinclair (64) with a time of 25:16.74, and Tomeka Shaffer (74) with a time of 26:41.60.
"This was the first time we had run a 6K," Coach Dena Dunn-Reif said. "We had a good season. We worked hard and improved from week to week. I thought we were ahead of the team we had last season."
