Jorge Bonone

Graduate Assistant

Jorge Bonome joined the strength and conditioning staff as a graduate assistant in July of 2026. Bonome will work with women's basketball, soccer, and men's basketball.

Bonome comes to Hattiesburg after interning at Florida primarily with the men's basketball team. He also assisted with men's and women's golf. Bonome was part of the Gators basketball team that won the 2025-26 SEC regular season championship. Before his return to Gainesville, Bonome spent two years in the private sector of strength and conditioning.

Bonome received his undergraduate degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at Florida, while obtaining his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification at the same time.
