Drew Williams was named assistant coach for Southern Miss Volleyball following the 2024 season, after serving as a student coach for the Golden Eagles. He previously spent three years as a student assistant and volunteer assistant with the Southern Miss Beach Volleyball program, where he contributed to the team’s third-place finish at the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

From 2022–2024, Williams was an assistant coach at Presbyterian Christian School. During his tenure, the program recorded its first winning seasons in seven years and produced multiple All-State selections and collegiate signees. In addition to his work at the high school level, Williams currently serves as Assistant Director and head coach for Infinity Soar Volleyball Academy.

In 2022, Williams was recognized as an AVCA Thirty Under 30 Award recipient. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Southern Miss in 2024 and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sport Management.
